In every Jesus movie you have that "moment"...the Roman soldier who looks into the eyes of Jesus and is transformed. They never tell you that he continued at the old stand after..and maybe got even more ferrocious and murderous...because now he had another god to go kill for....not just the Emperor.

You`re supposed to be left with the impression that he turned in his skirt and sandals and openned an orphanage on the money he`d looted for his pension. But he didn`t do that and neither did it ever happen.

The Roman Army "spread" Christianity..not any missionaries or Evangelizing pain in the assess. Of course they too "converted"...why not? What did they stand to lose? Rather they gained the satisfaction now of not just killing and raping and enslaving the enemies of Rome..but the enemies of God hisself. Naturally they, and Gibson, would start torturing Jews first of all for this "crime"...to get everybody looking the other way..that the people who killed Jesus figured out how to make it pay.

It`s such a pile of malarky it`s no wonder Bush is president. If you can take that much bullshit in a lifetime, why not a Bush for a president to wash it down.
