heheheheheheheheh It is time to take a stand. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Beth Suryoyo Assyrian (Othuroyo) Forum -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Written by George on 11 Feb 2004 20:31:07: I had some reservations prior to Father Louise’s arrival to St. Ephriam Church in Burbank. I already started to judge this priest before I even met him or heard of him. All I knew about his history is that he got rejected from Al-Mansourieh near by Hassaka, Syria by his own congregation and also by Bishop Mata Rohm. Then I said to myself, “We are going to be receiving another priest whose heart is the wrong place and he is coming to Burbank to create more problems?” Being someone who is reasonable, I said “let me give the new priest the benefit of the doubt and do not judge him prematurely.” Does that sound reasonable? During the first mass on the first Sunday of his arrival, I sat in the back of the church and started to listen to his Sermon. I have to admit Father Louise was a little dramatic by raising his voice than lowering his voice during the mass. That does not mean that he has erred. So I waited for the “Wahza”. What I heard was unbelievable. He was preaching from a different bible. The following week, I listened to his “Wahza” again. Much to my astonishment he started to teach false doctrine once again. Three weeks has past and three times I was shocked. In those three circumstances I watched the attendees. A few where fixated at the alter and the rest were looking at one another. Clearly they were confused as much as I was. The one’s that were not confused are the ones who would believe anything Father Louise was feeding them. Ladies and Gentleman one must ask himself is this bishop and the priest feeding the congregation spiritual cyanide? ...it´s a little late now don´t you think...CHRISTIAN! A couple of weeks ago the Priest again was teaching false doctrine and much to my amazement a parishioner called him on his preaching. Two people approached him while he was sitting down in the hall and getting his hands kissed and said to him Abuna, what you were saying was not right during the wahza” She continued to say “ maybe you should write down what you are going to say and be prepared.” Louise said” its okay daughter I’m learning.” The other person said “ he does not know how to preach.” Louise replied with full of wisdom “maybe you can teach me”. They both replied and said “you want us to teach you.” Is answer sufficient? What happens when someone wants to get sound advise as far as spiritual matters is concerned or some counseling? Can we depend on Bishop Kaplan or Father Louise or better yet the new Priest Father John or should we say Rev. Child John. Childe Harold came down...Byron. The reason I wrote this is that I am speaking to all the Syrian, Assyrian Christian people around the world. If you stay quite and let them take a foot than next time they will take a yard and so on. We are already stripped from our identity in the international community. Are we going to be stripped from our faith also? Tell me what you think and let the whole international community stand up. You want change? Show it by reorganizing our faith first. We shall over come. ...they´ll never figure it out...they were raped ages ago and are just now discussing what to do about this damned virginity of theirs. --------------------- |
