Like all other religions it has great and not so great values. It's greatness or otherwise like all other things in life depends on how it is used . For example one can kill another person with a knife or save his life with it. One can condemn a person with words or prais him. One can burn down peoples houses with fire or use it to make wonderful things with it. What makes such things good or bad is the intention of the user.

There is a trend in Parhad's writing which leads me to believe that he loves the ancient Assyrians but hates the contmeporary.

...there are plenty of contemporary Assyrians to admire..but they are Assyrians..they think of helping ALL OUR PEOPLE...because back then we were the most inclusive of people...not like today where you Christians learned this murderous intolerance from the Hebrews of old...Assyrians were never that way...and you are not Assyrians. You are a Christian born in Muslim lands who tries very hard to distinguish yourself from the neighbors YOU hate...so you came up with this "Assyrian" business...like a Jew could turn Buddhist and then claim he was even MORE of a PURE JEW because he no longer believed in Yahwe..but Buddha instead...give it a rest.

He belongs to the group of people who love the dead because they can not talk back or do anything wrong but despise the living and parhad is one of them.

...and you belong to the group of people at all these forums who can`t talk back to the living unless they get banned first...who only talk to the dead.

...Parhad would´`t be the first Assyrian in 2500 years to have built an Assyrian monument...he wouldn`t have all those Assyrian sculptures on his site if he was filled with hate and hated the living...that monument was specifically created to give some hope and pride to our young and very alive people who can find nothing of pride in all the whining and pissing and moaning you guys do. You don`t create like this when you`re filled with hatred...when you`re filled with hatred you can`t spell The real Ben .
