Even those who do not believe in scripture say this …here is a famous astronomer “my research drove me to believe an intelligent creator must exist, this conclusion was reached despite my Gnostic Buddhist beliefs.” ...these Christian boys had a brief fling on talk shows a while back with that old saw about you out walking in the forest and discovering a watch on the ground. Even though there`s no evidence of any "Watchmaker" around...your "reason" tells you some watch maker somewhere made it...it didn`t just appear from nowhere...right? And so, they "reasonned"...so it is when you see a human or anything on earth or anywhere...your reason tells you someone superios must made them..and that someone is MY god!!! That an argument like this could give anyone pause...as if there`s some merit to it, tells you how far we are from using simple Reason...painstakingly refined and honed over thousands of years..and fought every step of the way by Voodoo priets and dispensers of snake oil gods. A watch in itself bespeaks human creation...not divine. So where`s the confusion? You`d be a damn fool to find a watch and not know it was made by a humans...as stupid as you`d be to find a woman out walking in that forest and insist she was made by a watchmaker. I mean REALLY! > --------------------- |
