what`s happening in Iraq now is "liberation"...when the Turks were fighting for thier lives and homes they were "genociding".

Why are we always so afraid?

...you know, I keep asking that same question. Why are you boys so afraid of everything? Why do you have a "forum" that isn`t? Why do you hide and are afraid to talk to other Assyrians?

The Armenians have observed such demonstrations for the last 85 years. It is partly because of such efforts that there has not been more massacres of the Armenians for such a long time.

...not at all. Let the same circumstances occur again, namely another war brought against Turkey by Christians and let the Christians inside Turkey APPEAR to be in favor of it..and watch. Watch what happnes to Christians in Iraq. You can Protest all you want to..it isn`t their protesting that got them anything.

Presently there are as much as one hundred thousands Armenians in Turkey. Those who massacre thrive on anonymity. If they know that they can get away with it without being considered as barbarians they will repeat it over and over again.

...you mean like the Christian Crusades which have been going on for 1000 years? You mean THOSE kind of barbarians? The kind who have policies of denying food and medicine to children?

If Turkey is sensitive to such charges it should come forward and express its regrets for what happened in the past and distance itself from those who did it instead of claiming that it did not happen.

...Let America and Great Britain come forward and admit to all the barbarisms they committed in the past...and right on up to today...and then ask Turkey. If you boys won`t accept UN figures for the number of murdered children in Iraq during Sanctions and BY sanctions..then how in hell do you expect the Turks to believe YOUR figures? Has anyone in America distanced themselves from the lies that were used to justify this inhumane war against a civilian population?

We can not forget about what happened just because Turkey does not want to hear about it. This is an unforgettable part of our history.

...same holds true for the things you don`t want to hear about. You are ALL barbarians.
