in response to a harmless enough post by Aprim about the discovery of three Assyrian,, not Christian, but Assyrian Queens´tombs...by an Iraqi...of all things...Hanna is quick to point out... This is a very old news, about few years old! Is there a reason of bringing it up now? Hanna Hajjar ..."any reason". They can go on and on about Paul and Jesus and Jesus and Jesus and Jesus and Mar One and Mar Two some more and forever and ad nauseum...but why mention Assyrian Queens AFTER they`ve been discovered??? Where`s the purpose served??? Are there any "descendants" of the Assyrians who MIGHT like to hear this news twice in "few years"? Or do we have to have Christian programming day and night without let up year after bloody year...with the FRONT of Assyria draped all over it. If you guys were a tenth part even Assyrian...you`d never tire of hearing about kings and queens and palaces and you`d be INSISTING that those cuneiform tablets that contain so much more of our ACTUAL words, not filtered through a Jew manuscript OR a Syriac one...be read and read and read over again and you`d NEVER get enough of thinking about and contemplating what a change there would be in persceptions about that creepy little book you all call the word of god...and MAYBE, once every "few years" you might want to be reminded of your Christ. --------------------- |
