The AAASC is going to be participating in the events on the 24th of April 2004 at the Corner of Hobart and Sunset in Hollywood, it’s called the March In Little Armenia and starts at 10am. Also, we will be protesting with Armenians and other nations at the Turkish Consulate, 4801 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles on the 24th at 4pm. Here’s the website to find other events at: http://www.genocideevents.com. Assyrian American Association ..they`re back at it. How do you "protest" something that`s long over? Is this supposed to make it okay in people`s minds to be killing Muslims AND Christians too right now? Is this revenge? Turks didn`t commit any genocide. There was no genus they were after..they`d have bundled Buddhists off too if they were likely to do what Christians were feared likely to do. How come the Turks aren`t demanding reparations for a totally unprovoked war against them? The Europeans made no secret of the fact that they were eager to attack and steal the same oil fields thery`re trying to setal again. It`s such balderdash. Right now, this very day, Iraqis, Muslim Assyrians are being killed by the hundreds and the boys want us all to "protest" events during a war 80 years ago. I suppose the people who refuse to see Majdolin and won`t accept the death rates of Iraqi children put out by the UN and`who don`t want to talk about the horros being inflicted on another innocent civillian population right now..by Chrisdtians...expect us all to get teary-eyed over the death by murder..that`s what war is...of Christians years ago...like if we`ll just remember to be angry over THAT, we`ll feel better about ignoring the murders of today. --------------------- - BACK TO INDEX - REPLY - QUOTE - EDIT - DELETE -
