Paul, Tiglath posted quotes from several noted historians (not Aprim) about how the supposed/alleged violent behavior exhibited by the ancient Assyrians was often exaggerated. Furthermore, the noted historians (not Aprim) went even so far as to say that even if the supposed/alleged violent behavior exhibited was NOT exaggerated, (the historians themselves admit that there were great exaggerations for propaganda purposes in the case of the Assyrians but not in the case of the Hebrews), that even then, their supposed/alleged violence is merely a drop in the bucket when compared to the savagery of the ancient Hebrews. How would you respond, in earnest, to such an argument? --------------------- |
