The "god" of war lost on the battlefield, and Nineveh burned while he jacked off at the sight. He's buried, long gone. He's a has-been, forsaken by the people who once bought into his bullshit. He's down there with the other washed-up has-beens like Jupiter, Sin, Ishtar and Zeus. Lamasu was no protector. You wouldn't have even known what a Lamasu was if Layard had not stumbled upon the ruins of that most cursed and wicked city. Lamasu lay in the dust while for EIGHT centuries we got fucked in the ass by the Chaldeans, Persians, Scythians, Greek, Romans, Arabs, Mongols, Turks and Kurds. Nice "protection" Lamasu gave you.
