...often you pay a price to learn...one thing to come out of this 14 year war on Iraq is that it throws in sharp contrast all we've been saying about our own inncoence in what happens in the MisEast..how we just sit around praying while, inexplicably, everyone wants to murder us...it also gave us a chance to see just how close our people are, over the religious divide, in Iraq..none of the boys told us anything but stories of hatred and suspicion and fear between Iraqi Muslims and Christians..it took the bombing of the churches for us to hear from THEIR mouths that they are friends and always have been.

The amount of lies and distortions the boys fill the internet with is astonishing..and what they leave out and what they think they know..all of it gathered by their Church...reach monumental proportions...and then the thing starts to fall apart. This is the reason they have always avoided public scrutiny..they SAY they want it but not really..this is the reason all "books" on the subject are self-published or published by obscure Christian agencies who then use their own books as "references" to other books they print creating the impression that this stuff eally exists anywhere but in their own fevered imagination. When god is on your side you give your self permission to be among the greatest scoundrels who ever lived...here's just such a one.

1- The quote you refered to is incorrect. It fails to mention that English fought on Iraq's side to insure its existance just as the Iraqi army did from 1923 to 1933. Without the English and the Assyrians there would not have been an Iraq to speak of tody. That is the reality which you and the writer of the article seem to be unaware of.

...without the British there still would have been an Iraq...as that part of the Ottoman Empire was called..it was only made into a "country" so the British could get themselves a "mandate" over it..and guess who the chumps were they were going to "protect"? The same ones they went over now to "Liberate". THAT has been the "value" of its "littlest ally".

2- It was not the English action which uprooted Christians from their home and made them refugees. It was Turkey's attempt to wipe out the christians of the Middle East which led to it. The Massacres started in October 1914 even before world war one and had been going on long before then.

...bullshit. The Millet Systen had been in place for decades giving the Christians there more autonomy then they will EVER have again. What you fail to ever mention is that the war itself was Genocide against an innocent people, the Turks. who'd also done nothing to Europe to deserve it..it was a unilateral, pre-emptive war to steal Turkey's oil...something the Industrializing West needed badly...facing such an onslaught by the combined forces of the greatest Industrialized powers of their day, all Christian..the Turks overreacted, understandably and regretably..but it was NOT the Turk's intention EVER to massacre Christians..as they had been a welcome part of the Empire since the beginning..it was the foreign Christians again who attacked first and then as now some lunkheads joined in hopes they'd get their OWN country...though what they would DO with one amid all those pissed as hell Muslims they never thought about..probably thought Britain would "mandate" them forever.

...nothing..absolutely NOTHING of what any Christian missionary or preist says is credible. We know it means nothing because today with so many INDEPENDENT sources describing the horror that is life in Iraq..brought once again by Christians, has made the SLIGHTEST dent in calls for more war and murder by YOU Christians..obviously you people pick and choose what to believe..until you condemn Christian crimes in Iraq today..we know it's just partizanship and was BACK THEN! That people suffered is true, then as now..that people went to excess is true, then as now...but that Iraqis or Turks had been WAITING for a chance to kill inncoent Christians is one big fucking lie put out by people who will NOT see the numbers of Christians being killed today..because their murderers are Christians as well. ...such as the one where Christians would say its an okay policy to starve to death 5000 children a month for 13 years..that kind of a New World Compassionate Christian Order?..and where thousands of them were Christians and you STILL won't see it but believe EVERY gross exagerration from 70 and 100 years ago? If you had any credibillity you'd show it by condemning ALL murder of ALL Christians regardless of WHO did the killing..but that wouldn't serve your church...and it is YOUR church that produced these lies and keeps them going.

3- There was no Iraq to speak of in 1918. It was not the Iraqis who drow Turks out of the country.It was the British. It was not the Iraqis who defended its borders during the first few years of its independance. Iit was the British and the Assryians. It was not the Iraqis who prevented Turkey from recapturing its former property . It was the British and the Assyrians. it was not Iraqi's who created the Iraqi Army and the Government. It was the British. If you are going to blame the Assryians for helping the British to establish and protect Iraq why not blame the Iraqi army and the Iraqi government who also helped the British between 1924 to 1033 ?

We KNOW the British were behind the making of Iraq..as a separate COUNTRY...why would the Turks do that...and Iraq was a PART of Turkey! Just whom are you calling "Iraqi" at this time? There were residents of a province of their Empire, called "Iraq". The British were the enemy that defeated the Turks and now wanted to cut Iraq off as a separate country and they got the same lunkheads who'd believed them before to wear their uniforms and help them..with the same promises they just dashed at Versilles when they left Agha Poutrous holding an empty bag of their tricks. What astounding bit of information do YOU think you just revealed?

It was nothing more than ingratitude of the Iraqis to them. It was a political act to prevent a civil war between the Suni and the Sheites by inventing a common enemy for both to hate.

4-Let me remind you that there was no Syria before the British and French liberated the region in 1918. In case you don't know Syria and Iraq had been part of Turkey for 600 years before world war one.

...that you would call an unprovoked war against a nation "liberating" their lands from them and their people from their lives shows you why you were so roundly hated then and now...when you've used the same word to describe the destruction of yet another country that did nothing to deserve it...I'd wipe you out TOO!

5- Christians of Iraq are not responsible for what some Journalist from Italy or somewhere else will write.

...they weren't even responsible for this war..they weren't responsible for the decision YOU, who are safely out of the country, made to urge Bush to go "liberate" them...they didn't want THAT either..it was YOU people who helped bring this misery down on them and helped the United States kill thousands of their children..no wonder you never want to see YOUR part..just innocent lambkins all who don't understand WHY people don't pet them and cherish them and give them a warm triangle by the fire...you have deserved everything you ever brought down on your own heads for believing Christ, or his minions or soldiers were EVER going to do a damn thing for you!

6- It is people like you who invent their own truth regardless of reality which are responsible for all the bloodshed in those countries. The Assyrian side of the history has not been allowed to be told because of people like you.
