I just realized something...just as "Assyrian" is really code for "Christian"...so too "Kurd" is code for Muslim.

Go back to any article explaining what "Kurds" did...and susbtitute the word "Muslim" instead and you`ll get to the heart of the matter...same with the code word "Assyrian". Dig a little and replace the word with "Christian" and you`ll see that these are indeed the same people divided by religious hatreds fuled by priests and Imams who make their living form keeping brother away from and hating brother.

So what if this tribe came from that side of the mountain and ate yellow cheese because their goats ate yellow grass found only on that side of the mountain while this tribe came from that valley over there and ate blue cheese because their goats fed on blue grass that only grows in that valley? Can people really justify killing each other over cheese? No. So they bring their mountain god and their valley god and they feel perfectly fine killign each other`s children over THEM! That`s all this about: finding the right excuse to commit murder and sanctifying it with an "Almighty" when you know dmn well you couldn`t hallow it with cheese. Thisis foolish, retropgrade, continues behaviors from our dimwitted past and as increasinlgy posing a threat to the entire planet and everybody on it...and it has to end, not be fine-tuned and refined and expanded.

The definition of "Assyrian" comes down to nothing more than Christian village rituals and a language used by their prophet...as with the Kurds you just have Islam, a set of rituals from the desert, using a language of their prohpet..Arabic.

This is nothing more than Muslim VS Christian...with the Christians trying to dress it up into an ethnic thing while the Kurds do the same. All of the people are the people of a region that has had shifting political boundries since the beginning of Time in which hordes of people moved from either the mountains or the deserts across the lands of those who settled before them..mixing and blending their blood, genes, food, clothes and cutlures...influencing each other in art, music, language etc.

The new element in this wonderful stew was the rabid intolerance of the Hebrews who would slit another Jew`s wife`s belly open and kill her baby over their one TRUE god. This element of insanity made eveyone insane, in time, who followed the Jew-based religions and rather than accept each other as they had always done...fighting wars all the same as people always have...they took to hating each other as PEOPLE for not conforming to this or that notion of the only allowable god for the entire Human Race..a pretty hopeless and stupid enterprise.

From the need to make their cases distnict..to damn all those who would not join any ONE god, they made all sorts of meaningless distinctions and special cases that threw up bariers between people until you`d think we were all meant to be natural and terenal enemies of each others CHILDREN!...though people went right on mixing and matching and catching hell for it too in greater numbers...ask Jassim.

These religious factions have led peole to believe they are distinct Human Beans...when all they are is one people divided over god-insanity.

Pretty silly no? And very murderous.
