So have the oil derricks and the bountiful goddess Pomona, all scrubbed off by county leaders who voted to redesign the emblem after the American Civil Liberties Union (news - web sites) threatened to sue over the use of a cross in a government seal. "

...Now There`s something to bless...the ACLU, champions of our beleagured Constitution..the document that freed the slaves, women, minorities, Queers, Transvestites and others from the Tyranny of yahwe...and will rid us of this infestation of Jesus-rats.

...There`s a backlash generating against Christianity and it`s long overdue..they have made themselves hateful...they`ve made it clear to generations of people who never thought about it beofre just what is so dangerous in allowing the hacks of any religion to take over our government..weeping all the time that they are being pushed around because we OBEY our Laws!

...I remember being at an Assyrian lecture at a convention once when some creepy god-person stood to "ask a question" and instead delivered a diatribe about how everything works through Jesus and accepting Jesus would solve our problems..and everyone kept quiet and let the dweeb go on and on because they felt "awed" and hushed by the mere mention of that name...not to realize that the guy was interrupting and interjecting Jesus..it could have been Model "Ts" into a discussion where neither belonged. It was plain rude and inconsiderate..and I think if it happened today even they would have no trouble shutting the guy up..they got AWAY with this stuff because they USED our weakness for the name..they`ve been chipping away at our freedom`s..the things that made us the envy of the world, for decades now under the guise of Jesus...no one comes to America because of Jesus...they come because of the Constitution.

It`s about time an instrument of torture was removed from public gaze and especially from emblems of our civic life..who the hell is Jesus that he has to be thrust in our faces...especially those of us who refuse to go ga ga over a Jew carpenter who said what everyone said..."love each other"?
