at aina a boy suggests that people who think alike form the basis of a "nation", you know, like Nazi Germany...the others just not being "positive" enough. He suggests they get themselves a room...a little room...hell, he says they'll even share the COST...how's that for dedicated to mother Assyria! He lists whom he wants and says anyone else can come...IF and it's a big IF...they are POSITIVE. In other words they want a room like aina...everyone is welcome, who thinks as they do, the rest will be told to leave. And across the hall beth will have their room...and down the hall ZOWAA will have theirs and Dadeshoo will have his and each church will have its...and they'll all be positive in their own rooms etc.

This is how you build an insane asylum with a ward for each group of patients who "think" alike. A naton happens when you embrace differences...not isolate them...and a nation that endures will protect the rights of those it DOESN'T like...like the boys demand of Iraq.

Birds Of a Feather Flock Together?

In some conferences that I have attended, people that engage and work in similar fields get together for a few sessions to exchange ideas and experiences. They are referred to as “Birds of a Feather…”

As a suggestion, could this forum sponsor and designate a room for such an event in the upcoming convention? If need be, we can share the cost.

An agenda made of (one or two current issues… e.g. we can take two of the topics pooled by Zinda Magazine) to be discussed amongst the AINA Forum participants and anyone else that wishes to and let us explore if we can agree to present a united front and write and act on these issue. AINA can publish the agenda a week ahead of time, allowing everyone to come prepared with their constructive suggestions and actions. Please suggest other issues.
