Ofcourse British and Iraqi sources would put the number at lower that it really is because the first was the instigator while the other was the executor.

...and of course you`d raise it..because you are the victims who can`t get enough..which is why you`ve stated over and over that if you don`t get your way you`ll ruin it for all the rest in Iraq, including these otherwise "dear" Assyrians you weep for.

With the same token other arab sources are claiming that the Assyrians at the time of the Simel 1933 massacre were asking for a separate country and that's why the Iraqi government issued the orders for the Simeleh massacre calling it an uprising...

...you went to work for the British as Levies, a colonial police force, because the British promised to make good on the broken promise of Versailles...that other time a bunch of Assyrians believed the British and took up arms under Agha Poutrous to help the Christians defeat Muslims..also because they were promised a homeland...read Malek Kambar`s book..who was there at the time..did as he was told and lived to regret the betrayal...then there`s the fact that those same Levies crossed the border illegally into Syria, also looking for a homeland..were turned back and refused to drop the same weapons they`d been given by the Brits and had used to kill Iraqis with, in the pay of their Brtish Masters...no people asked for it more...the trouble was the Iraqi army couldn`t find the actual skunks so they let loose on a village..to get the message out to all of you from that religion to beware your treachery and ingratitude since Iraq had taken you in and saved your lives when you were running from Muslims in Iran...it was no different than when America, attacked only ONCE and by 19 Saudi Arabians...chose instead to retaliate against the Afghanis and then the Iraqis...because they were of THAT religion and that alone made them all culpable and worthy of far more innocents killed than 3000...and you cheered that on...so what are you crying about?

This is what other arabs are teaching their generations about the Assyrians by blaming the victims for what they culprits did ... Isn't that typical of arab mentality ?

..it`s also typical of yours to excuse yourselves every time..to take no responsibility, to see anything you do at any time in the pay of the foreign Christians who`ve been repeatedly attacking Betnahrain as somehow not connected to any of the legitimate resentment and hatred the Muslims feel for you...imagine how you`d feel if Muslims killed 27,000 Assyrian children TODAY...look at how you blame them for 3000 eighty years ago...while ignoring 27,000 because your Christian Masters killed them...this is typical of Christian minority thinking..it is not typical of Assyrians to discount ANY of their losses.
