Dear all: It is interesting that some people think that Assyrians spaeak Aramaic language, which is not true. The Assyrians, with the followig denomination, Nestorian, Jacobite and Chaldean rite of Beth-Nahrein all speak SYRIAC, a language which was devloped after the spread of Chrisianity with the help of writing system of Sinai Alphabet , which was as a result of the Sumerian cuniform and Egyptian hieroglyphic. The new dialect Syriac, became official language of Chritianity, the SPOKEN of it i.e, Swadaya/ swodoyo it differ in accordance of locality which is a normal phenomenon in any given language. So, the Syriac language actually is a combination of all semitic dialects of the Fertile Crescent. The Aramaic language could be surviving in the dialect of M3lola and few villages near Damascus only. The spoken language or Swadaya/ Swodoyo, could be spoken differently in every local, as any other languages which is a normal thing.
