The Church of the East was a universal church not limited to the "Assyrian" people. The first few Patriachs and bishops were Jews. We had Arab and Turks as Patriarchs, even the mongolian you mentioned, Mar Yabh-Alaha. We've had plenty of non-Assyrian Patriarchs. Only in the last 700 years or so since Tamerlane, the Muslim (cbuh) nearly wiped out 99% of the Church of the East, has the church been reduced to primarily two ethnic groups: "Assyrians" (really the lost tribes of Israel still in captivity in Assyria) and Indians.

You're not seriously suggesting that the Mongolian empire, whose leadership were shamanists, were interested in propogating the Church of the East, are you?

If so, you should have some historical records of the Mongolians forcing the Church of the East down anyone's throats. Now, do you? Of course not! Christianity never became the official creed of ANY empire, especially not of the Mongolian empire.

We chose Mar Yabh-Alaha as Patriarch because he was qualified for the post, and because the ruling empire was Mongolian at the time and it would be useful for us to have a link to the ruling empire so that a measure of protection could be afforded to us so that we wouldn't be massacred, like Tamerlane later massacred us.

That's still a far cry from the evidence we are asking of you. It's very simple, khizmie. The Inquisition is a very well-known example of the brutality of Western Christianity. Can you find an Eastern Inquisition committed by the Church of the East?

If not, then concede the point to Dean and I. You are a reasonable person and you KNOW that the Church of the East was never even in a position to protect itself, LET ALONE force itself on anyone ELSE!
