Dear Paul,

You stated;
"The OT never claims it is the original source of the story, and neither do I Khizmie. It is simply the Hebrew retelling of their old ancestor's story about the flood and the ark."
So what you're saying in essence is that the Hebrews, who according to the Bible, were related to us and simply continued the tradition of their ancestors the ancient Sumerian, Akkadian, Babylonian and Assyrians by passing down their literature from one generation to another even though they managed to include anti-Assyrian quotes such as Psalm 137:8-9 and depict us as the rod of Yawheh's anger etc.
Well then how do you explain the following Bible quotes which reinforce their belief in the work not onyl being infallible BUT original as well. Through these quotes they claim everyone of our ancient myths, epics and poetry from Napushtim's Ark, the love song of Ishtar and Tammuz, the code of Hammurabie etc?
Now I know you'll probably use the cop-out line they're part of the OT(Ureyta) line so I have also included a quote from the Book of Revelations which is part of the NT(P'shitta.)

2 Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the LORD your God that I give you. (Deuteronomy 4:2 The Holy Bible, New International Version)
32 See that you do all I command you; do not add to it or take away from it. (Deuteronomy 12:32 The Holy Bible, New International Version)
5 "Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. 6 Do not add to his words, or he will rebuke you and prove you a liar. (Proverbs 30:5-6 The Holy Bible, New International Version)
15 Brothers, let me take an example from everyday life. Just as no one can set aside or add to a human covenant that has been duly established, so it is in this case. 16 The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. The Scripture does not say "and to seeds," meaning many people, but "and to your seed," meaning one person, who is Christ. (Galatians 3:15-16 The Holy Bible, New International Version)
18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. 19 And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book. (Revelation 22:18-19 The Holy Bible, New International Version)
