I got this today via email, just as I got in a long discussion with a Jewish-Zionist-American here about the probable shift in American focus on the importance of Israel now that they've stepped on Iraq. He was livid and said "You must understand that WE will NEVER let that [Americans diminishing their emphasis on Israel] happen and WE will do everything in our power to see that it doesn't happen." The occupation of Iraq is going to have ripple effects, me thinks.
