"In an interview with Time Magazine, the president suggested he had underestimated the struggle of the postwar period in Iraq. "Had we to do it over again, we would look at the consequences of catastrophic success, being so successful so fast that an enemy that should have surrendered or been done in escaped and lived to fight another day," Bush said. " ...what kind of "catastrophic success" allows your enemy to escape? What kind of succes allows him to live another day to fight back? ...was his "success" a catastrophe? Then what kind of success was it? IS this how anyone would define success...anyone besides Hanna and Bush? ...it seems we're on an edge right now...the more they hype it up to scare people over a terrorist attack from somewhere, ANYWHERE...the more they appear to be surrounding us with our OWN military...and it's starting to look really dangerous to be protected by our own millitary from our own children and parents. ...it's doomed...the question is how much of the Constitution do they take with them as we ride them out of town on a rail...they came to do THAT...wreck what is unique in the Constitution and leave us with the best damn Police State money can buy out. That will be a catastrophic success to them...just like they really succeeded in Iraq...but to us and the people of Iraq it is all a Catastrophy we can't even begin to imagine the full scope of yet and may never know because that will be our new "reality"...and you know how important it is for people to be "normal" and especially, "realistic"...as in >.."Listen, hehehe, you better WAKE UPand be realistic". ...abortion on demand anyone? --------------------- |
