I agree with you. That opinion article isn't the best.... The U.S. government is definitely at fault for starting a lot of this. Every time the U.S. government arms a group of people (perhaps naively, in the past, but I doubt how naive our foreign policy planners are), it comes back to haunt them... or maybe past U.S. administrations wanted it that way. Who knows? I believe that half of the U.S. government is stupid enough to get duped and the other half is crafty and malicious. You can't deny that militant Israelis are killing innocents. I don't care if they are doing it as part of a greater plan endorsed and/or created by various people in the U.S. government or not. They are killing. I firmly believe that the U.S. and Israeli governments are business partners. This, of course, does not mean that I have no faith in Jewish/Israeli peace groups to change things in the future, perhaps. Just as there are fanatics on all sides, there are good people as well. --------------------- |
