Here is my serious response.

First of all, are you referring to me in the first person, or "you" in general in the third person?

For example, "How do you say...?" vs. "How does one say...?"

Second, before we actually tackle this question of if a person is born gay or chooses to be gay, let us try to find some neutral ground to agree on.

For example:
· What does "gay" mean? Does gay mean homosexual?
· Do you define a homosexual by the type of sex they have, or also their emotional attachments?
---> What I mean by this question is, is a male who is married to a female and has children (but who later divorces his wife and meets a gay partner) homosexual?
---> Are men in prison who have wives and children but who have sex with other men homosexuals?
---> If a girl in college who has led a "straight" (aka non-homosexual) life experiments with another girl once, is she a lesbian?
So, my question to you is... how are you going to define homosexual?

Would you like to use the dictionary definition?

AND Finally... does a non-homosexual choose to be not homosexual, or is s/he born that way? That question will have to be answered with your original one once we have achieved some sort of agreement and understanding over just what we will be talking about.

After all, I had a teacher say to me once...

"How the khell do you expect to get an answer veen you don't understand the question?"

So, how can you and I debate or have a dialogue if we don't agree from the start on some very different points, and then challenge each other from there?
