Paul, This election will be about JOBS AND ECONOMY AND NOT WAR IN IRAQ. Will this war employ more people? Will this war be good for our economy and the country? I don't think people give a rat ass about Iraq and all that. Time and time again, people of the United States have seen and got used to this sort of aggression in Iraq back in the days in Vietnam, Korea, South America, Central America, South East Asia, and...It is embedded in our economy and our people/culture in U.S. That’s right, we are embedded, the military industry in United States contribute more than 500 BILLION DOLLARS to U.S. economy and it is one of the largest employment industry in the United States. Will the autocrats and people in power do anything to impede this war mentality? I think NOT. And on “WMD” and “OSAMA”, these were just the tools to prepare people for what was about to unleash. They needed an excuse and they found one “9/11”. The U.S. has tried to link the 9-11 to Iraq and we could see that in president’s speeches. They kept using SADDAM/IRAQ/WMD IN THE SAME PARAGRAPH when they mentioned 9-11 AND ATTACKS IN THE U.S. FYI: Paul, read my yesterday’s posts on CONSERVATIVES AND IRAQ, LEO STRAUSS, AND THE REST OF GANG; hopefully that may shed some light on this issue. --------------------- |
