Imagine how MORE likely you would be to hate them if you had no proof yourself...never went to Heaven to see etc? ...when people doubt or refuse to accept what you FERVENTLY need to believe...in order to make sense of your own life to yourself...their "obstinancy" and "stubborn" refusal to ADMIT YOUR TRUTH AS THEIRS, must give some impetus to that nagging little voice that says..."how do YOU know you're so right when millions refuse to believe"? ...think how happy and RELIEVED and reassured Paul and the rest would be if their pet god came down to earth and went on Larry King to say..."I am the ONE...see for yourselves"....think of the rejoicing, not to mention shock, in the hearts of all the Pauls around the world...never mind millions of others who just found out their belief system was crap all along. If you accept many gods...you forgive us all...if you NEED to believe yours is the only one....sooner or later hatred will spill over...not just because others doubt, but because they force YOU to doubt... I mean Paul can't even stand "ridicule"...never mind the lash or the cross. The boys didn't have any "love" for their fellows stuck in Iraq under one of the worst onsluaghts in history against totally innocent civillians..children especially. Had they even the slightest care they would NOT have beat the drums of war so...what they felt was an excess of HATE...hate for Islam..hatred especially for those of us who said "NO" to their Jesus..and you can see how Paul bends every which way to convince us that Jesus and ONLY Jesus is foreshadowed in BetNahrain...when all the while and truly it is Islam that far more reflects what we know of our people...our beautiful people who are left alone to fight the greatest embodiment of the Roman Christian Franchise ever...even more brutal than their last go in Germany under Hitler. Muslims are the new Jews...Muslims are the new Niggers...Arabs are the latest Wogs...and this time, just like last time, we're being given all sorts of "reasons" to HATE...while all the simple facts that would allow our hearts to go out to these people, even if we weren't of BetNahrain...the feelings of Love and compassion for fellow humans..are being drowned out in this frenzy of Hate! Hatred drove the engines of this war...where greed wasn't the sole culprit...a barely disguised hatred for a different God and belief system and values...hatred for HUMANS in other words...and if you hate ANY child...you make a shitty parent to your own...hate any human for their beliefs and values and you hate yourself...and look at the boys...their one single and most striking trait is self-loathing...watch Payul twist himself into knots trying to sidestep the intense self-loathing he's expressed and seeks to disguise with "history"... Hatred grows as God grows... One-God business breeds hatred and violence...that's why we ancients had so many and respected the many gods of the many people we embraced and welcomed and benefitted AND fought AND killed...No One God can be a god of love...he is, and it's always a HE, a god of intolerance, of suspicion, jealousy and Hatred...look at them. --------------------- |
