... parting thought....

okay so he says take out all pagan symbols from christianity... so take out everything that our "pagan" ancestors had incorporated in their belief systems:

christmas
easter
baptism
virgin births
doves and other symbols like fish
ressurections
trinities and holy spirits
concept of a God and a Devil
concept of sin
the outfil the preists wear
the symbols on altars (by the way the assyrian flag symbol is a sun symbol on the vatican altar if anyone did not know)
heaven and hell concepts
concept of sacrifices (like animals and saviors)
statues or any other idols like crosses
and much more

and what are you left with, just guilt and oppression on the negative side and jesus' teachings of goodness on the positive side... the first will be used as always and the later will be ignored as always... and there is nothing that makes the religion indoctrinable, habit forming, ritual ingraining.... interesting... and within a hundred years the religion will perish.
