Shlama Farid, It is equally absurd to suggest that, one the one hand, Rome forced Christianity upon us, while on the other hand Islam was welcomed by us with open arms. Especially when you consider that we didn't live under any Roman control, in any sense of the imagination. In fact, our empire Parthia and Rome were in a constant state of war with one another. We were Rome's enemy. If you wish to allow that Assyrians welcomed Islam rather than being forced into it, I suggest giving the same possibility to Christianity.
