No, I can't. That's why I don't call myself an Assyrian anymore. I'm Assyrian only in the sense that:

(1) I come from the land that is known as Assyria
(2) I am descended from the son of Shem, Ashur, grandson of Noah (or Napishtim or "dude" or whatever you want to call him.)

Bull - Ashurbanipal did everything he did in the name of his "Lord Ashur" which is even part of his name. I can get you quotes if you'd like.

Ashur was a bloodthirsty little bastard, far more than any other ancient deity. I can provide quotes if you'd like.
