I don`think it helps people to scare them as children and make them distrust their own minds...Andy, he who was Urinated by God, said that people need these fables and myths to be at peace...bullshit! People need to be encouraged to use their minds better and better..not run back 2000 years to that pile if dung on a hillside..that`s absurd.

Of course there`s a spirit somewhere doing something..it`s too preposterous to believe this is all a meaningless accident..but the answer is way beyond our powers...Gilgamesh comes back KNOWING there are gods...it isn`t as if he saw it was all a farce..but he sees that for him to try to understand it is the farce...if it EVER becomes known it won`t on earth and your teachers will NOT be Billy Graham or any of those who came out of a circus tent saying they KNOW. The knowledge or rather the feeling is in each of us already...just leave it there and be good to children round the world...and the planet..that`s all the God anyone needs.

Yes, it has nothing to do with Reason in the end..but making war and cheating people out of their savings have evrything to do with Reason and the more fucked your head is by religion the LESS you can Reason through the lies put out by church and politician and general and doctor.

The Law is enough...the will of the people is the best we have going for us...this war in Iraq was sold as GOD`S war against EVIL..that old stand-by that trumps the Law every time...for whatever witch butnings and child killings and theft and murder we KNOW is illegal because WE decided to make it so..can be justified by appealling to THAT Madman.

The real charlatans and criminals and enemies of Human Reason are those who insist THEY know what THEIR God wants and THEIR God is the ONLY one THEY`LL allow...and proceed to kill us all over it..which is EXACTLY what the Hebrews started out doing to their own brothers and sisters first and then in their reformed guise and with the aid of the Romans and their provinces and THEIR provinces..have been doing to us since.

Obviously there is no ONE God...look at all there atill are...in fact the argument is stronger that there is NO God...just leave the rest of us alone and believe what you want to...not you..the rest.

..and I hope your first lover never ran into such a storm of explanations for the word "No" as we`ve encountered in your "good-bye".
