Dear Dalale,

I may have read the Enuma Elish, the Ishtar and Tammuz myth and the Epic of Gilgamesh but there are hundreds of other non-fictional writings of our ancestors that I will read before I am ready to explore the latest fictional episode of the X-files.

Please allow me to explain something very important here.

This belief in his books is the result of our inferiority complex that remains with us to this very day. Our ancestors did indeed create the foundations for today's Western civilisation. We did this NOT because we were impregnated by aliens in the mother ship and NOT because we were racialy superior.

We did this simply because of location. We were at the confluence of 3 continents and our tolerant religion and our strong Kings were good enough to stabilise this, the most undefendable region on the planet, for over 700 stable years of rule.

And that is the real reason why civilisation began.

I'll make a deal with you. I'll read every single one of his books IF you can show me an Assyriologist just one who supports his beliefs and theories.
