...how can you NOT ridicule people who dump these many opportunities at your feet? I always like to think I'm performing a public service..like maybe they'll clean up their act if they find it greeted by guffaws and heehaws...as an example...from the place bursting with them...aina...a ridiculous haven if there ever was one comes: Re: Hanna's Flag Posted By: Ashor Giwargis (217.194.129.100) Date: Saturday, 21 August 2004, at 9:19 a.m. In Response To: Hanna's Flag (Bar Kaldaya) Well, Bar Kaldaya, I think we are "changing" many things... Hanna is an Assyrian intellect who proposed an idea, many may or may not agree with it, and i'm one of them. ...someone take pity on me...what am I supposed to do? It's bad enough Hanna is refered to as an "intellect"...but that's followed by..."many may or may not agree...and I'm one of them(?)" One of WHICH "one of them". And what's really scary is that the boys never need clarification or clarity either...why? Do you see my problem? Do you understand Paul's better now? I hope so...stop tickling me funny bone and I'll stop laughing. The problem is the contineous "changing and renewing", especially when it comes to the national establishements and principles (not talking about Hanna, but in general). ...well..."changing and renewing" kind of means CONTINUOUS...don't it? We already have our name, identity, tradition, flag.. and everybody is welcome. No need to discuss these things. ...and that settles that. The fact that there is dissention is PROOF to this turkey that there is "no need to discuss these things". What could be more clear. Some may feel it's better to discuss what people don't agree upon..others may feel it's a waste of time...frankly I'm one of those. Ashor. --------------------- |
