I have to point out that we could have had a world class monument as well...standing in Chicago next to the Oriental Institute on the campus of the University of Chicago for the last four years doing what the Ashurbanipal Monument in San Francisco has been doing for 16 years and counting...also promoting us to the world...which would be soooooooooooooooooooooooooo great too.

I guess the sight of Assyrian Christians kicking their own balls around the world just grabs some people in their groin...where the rest of their grey matter dangles.

Not to forget the Hammurabi for Detroit which was two years along and $90,000 along...also stopped by groin-dangling Christians...Nimrod and Bejan to be exact who wrote letters to people in Detroit...John warning them that I was just out "for money",,,and Bejan telling them I would come to their doors at night begging their groceries to feed my family with...oddly enough she made good on that last one...almost.

I think they did us all a favor really...they showed us how exactly we labor to maintain this high level of mediocrity in the community so their stars can shine, easily, with minimal efort and in their spare time...and they forced me out into the world..or I might have turned into a William Daniel...who devoted his life to "his" people only to wind up bitter and broke, living off of charity when the guy could have gone to Hollywood or New York and made a better name for himself AND us.
