I think you're using the Roman thing as a cop out. When I say we know what the church has done for hundreds of years and give the New World and Africa as examples...I'm not saying it was Rome that conquered the New World....I'm talking about the Christian FAITH and the FORCE behind it....my argument is still valid because there is no evidence of HOW the Armenians or the "Assyrians" came to be Christian.

I'm saying SOMEONE...in the case of Rome, we know...in other cases we don't know...but SOMEONE used force to get people away from their own time-honored and well loved traditions and religion and gods...

If I don't know exactly who did it in every instance I'm still saying the evidence at hand..all the evidence we can hope to have that can be believed because it does not come from the church itself..indicates they COULD NOT have converted willingly.

Take the word "Roman" out and insert "Someone"...my argument still holds....
