I think people are confused as to the meaning. If someone calls me a squirrel..that isn`t mockery. If I LOOK like one..or eat your nuts like I was one..and you exaggerate on it for the purpose of making fun of MY similarity to one..then you are mocking my SIMILARITY to a squirrel...by tweaking it a bit and sending it "up".

But if I have no resemblance at all to a squirrel but you can`t think of anything to say as a put down or insult and you call me a squirrel..you aren`t mocking anything! You have to have SOMETHING in order to mock it..if there is nothing on the horizon and you introduce a funny or rude comment about someone you could have made against ANYONE..it isn`t mockery..it`s an insult, if you like..or a joke...it can`t even be a sracasm..for the same reason..there has to be something THERE first.

The boys are very sensitive to being made fun of..they think you`re insulting them or something..but I at least am not. I`m making a mockery of their OWN idiocies. That`s different for they had to GIVE me what I send back...as a parody on what I consider to be their dumb views...and parodies and mockery even are perfectly legitimate ways of making points..if you can do it.

I`m reminded of Paul`s dinner scenario..which may have been funny as it STOOD. But his explanation of what I would do in that scene was more of his insult directed at me than a mocery of what he thinks I am. In the toon I drew of Paul in which he sits there explaining the fine points of Aramaic..or was it Sumerian...to a bunch of people recently blown apart by an American airstrike in which he carefully and very inteligently points out the proper way to say, " I AM IN EXTREME PAIN"..in the proper language...I was mocking his preocupation with irrelevancies at THIS particular moment..no matter how germane they might be at another time and place..that this is a CRISIS and it is far more important that innocent people are being given cause to scream out in pain, than what languge they do it in..or if they maintain decorum while doing it..while being mangled and killed. Paul HAS that quality..it comes from sniffing Pisheetas when he should be bathing instead.

If you would not be mocked..be a little carefull what you are..or at least how you present yourself. You are indeed taking the first step in being made a mockery of for there`s BOUND to be an Assyrian wherever you are who`ll complete your thought for you...bound to be.
