Muslims have a religion that is in harmony with who they are...it also happens to make them act a lot more like the Assyrians of old. Rather than go looking for people to rob and kill thousands of miles away..they stay at home and when people bring war to THEM and they can bear it in silence no longer and after every serious effort to reach an accord has been trashed by the attackers of their lands, they rise up..they have a religion..a God, who tells them exactly what to do in those circumstances to please him and get to heaven fast..if that's what they want.

A Christian...who oddly enough goes LOOKING to kill inncocent people...has a God who tells him not to kill and just to make it really funny, also to return goodness for badness..to turn the cheek and if he or she would get to heaven faster then kneel down and hold your child on your lap while someone slits your throats..then rejoice. And if you can..then you and yours are already damned to hell out of your own mouth.

Form the minute Muhammad openned his mouth to speak his god's message people tried to kill him...he had to defend himself against EVERYBODY...and he did..and he did it so well that they sued for peace and all would have been well. Except for the Eastern Christians whose Emperors were determined to seize the riches of Arabia...so what would you have had him do? Should he have kneeled down in the sand and told the Emperor to kill his people? Should he have waited till they conquered everything up to his doorstep..and then what? His choice wouldn't even have been a choice to a tax or convert...Muslims would have been killed outright..that was a Christian's way of making Peace.

What choice did Islam have but to go out and meet the enemy far from their homes and shrines. That they made it to BetNahrain and rescued Assyrians from the same bigots who would have murdered them all and in the process were transformed by the culture of BetNahrain is something to be ashamed of and deny and ridicule?

Who's more ridiculous today...Christian Assyrians or Muslim Assyrians? Who reluctantly took up the sword to defend BetNahrain if not Muslim Assyrians...who paid for and sang the praises of and prayed for this war...who ALL now say they had nothing to do with it but Christian Assyrians? Just what part of them was "Assyrian" in this?

It came as a relief to realize that the spirit of the Assyrians is alive and well in Iraq today...that's the focal point of anyone's efforts and concerns who would associate him or herself with the Assyrian people today. Assyrians never begged for a triangle before...they are there today in BetNahrain defending the entire nation from the beggining of a new Holocaust...aimed at Islam this time and fine tuned and dressed up to appear like anything but.

THERE are the Assyrians!
