...a "new" website has sprung up. There isn't anything "new" about it. It's just another retelling of the favorite Christian myth going..that all Assyrians converted ONLY to Christianity..a Jew knock-off and that they LOVED doing so and LEAPT at the chance to dump that dumb old religion under whose inspiration they built over half of civilzation...for the dismal status they hold in the toilet of the world today..and PROUD of it. Wullah the Jews finally got the best of us...got inside our heads via our assholes...like they still are..as proof of which come THIS asshole...trying to get our to heads some more.

...We can take credit over at our Enema of Assyria site for at least making these guys WORK for their claims that they are DIRECT descendants of Ashurbanipal...curses be to Ashur's name though..ask Paul, a pisheeta if there ever was one...

...This is Christian Crap..that's all...trying to hide behind an Assyrian Front. WM is forced to make a few concessions...but for the most part it's the same old same old that got us here and now has us running to Syria in the Great Assyrian "Watch-Us-Run", Run-A-Thon-Khon.

Who are Christians of Iraq?

Most people think of Iraq and the Middle East as exclusively, ethnically Arab and religiously Moslem and assume that it was always like that but such is not the case.

..it is not ethnically Arab at all. It is ethnically Iraqi and has been, no matter the name OR religions, for some time. The Arabs were a passing thing on their way across Africa to Europe..they did not SETTLE in Iraq. This is a Christian's way of saying NO Assyrian converted to Islam...that they ONLY converted to Christianity, which came attacking us from the other direction. Since Islam is from Arabia...then the boys figure every Muslim in Iraq today is ALSO an Arab from Arabia. This silly argument means that every Christian in Iraq is really an Israeli since the religion came from Israel and is ethnically a Jew and a Jew by religion..obviously this is rot.

Before the invasion of the Middle East in the 7th century A.D. by the Moslem army from Arabia the population of today's Iraq, turkey, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Philistine and Egypt was predominantly Christian and none Arab.

...you mean "non-Muslim"...there were Arab Christians and Arab Jews at this same time you distort everything else about. "Christian" is a RELIGION...."Arab" is a NATIONALITY...you lying Christian.

The Byzantine Romans, famous for their strange murderous ways, used Iraq as a dumping ground for heretic Christians within the empire...as these people got in the way and caused no end of civil strife by cracking each other's heads for Jesus. They settled in Iraq much as the whores and cutthroats of England came to America and Australia and eveVntually "converted"..through rape and murder, THOSE indigenous populations.

A systematic campaign by the Moslem rulers resulted in the conversion into Islam of the Christian population and the adoption of the Arabic as the dominant language. It was not until the 11th century when Moslems out numbered the Christians in Iraq.

..they did a lot more than that...as we know Saddam's family converted to Islam only recently...Assyrians by the thousands flocked to islam's banner and became LEADERS of the great Islamic Empire whose unsurpassed capital was NOT in Mecca or Medina but right ON TOP OF Babylon. Assyrians didn't just "teach" Arabs...they inspired and LED them.

This ushered a period of Arab civilization which is known as the "Golden Age". To show the extent of the Assyrian contributions to educating the Arabs it suffices to note that 96 of 100 Galen's treaties were translated from the Syriac language, the other 4 directly from the Greek. A great number of the Greek books at that time existed only in Syriac language.

The Bakht Eisho family members served as court doctors for seven generations. When Caliph al-Mamun established the "House of Wisdom" intended to translated the available knowledge into the Arabic language its early directors were Christian Assyrians. The most famous of them was Hunain who was known as the chief of translators. The rise of the Arabic as the language of education caused the decline of the Syriac language.

...there was no masacre of Christians..the Massacre was of Turks brought BY Christians from Europe, for which local Christians were blamed...much as Iraqis are being made to suffer for what 15 Saudis did to America..while the President continues to do business with their country.

...In Turkey, under the Millet System, Christians had the greatest autonomy they will EVER have in the MidEast...it was destroyed for them not by Muslims, but by Christians who mascred Turks by the millions in another uncalled for war over oil. The Turks were the REAL innocents...while the Christians were inevitably tainted and suspected for their common religion shared with the murderers of their neighbors..and by their complicity in aiding the European enemies of Turkey. Then, as now, a few assholes ruined it for the rest when they called on Western Christianity to come "save them"...it did...and today it's doing it some more..and tomorrow it will do it to them in Syria and Iran as well.

Assyrians are an important part of history and culture of not only Iraq but human civilization. To undermine their existence or driving them out of their homeland and scattering them around the world is not only a loss to Iraq but also to the mankind.
