...this is from another attempt to prove Jesus MUST have been Assyrian...while it`s commendable that people advocate kindness and forgiveness..these were hardly the exclusive values of Assyrians...and they were HARDLY Jewish..that still doesn`t mean Jesus was Assyrian...sure...had Jews from Assyria come back and talked about soap and everyhting else they learned..Jesus might well have been influenced by BetNahrain..not just Assyrians but ALL of us. But to take Assyrian values from out his mouth and change his ETHNICITY is absurd....about par for the other magic tricks we pull from our arses. The fact is that Jesus was the Messiah..and the concept of a Messiah is NOT of BetNahrain...it is purely Jewish cause them people NEEDED one. Lots of people were influenced by us..they also took the wheel, bread...butter cheese and a whole lot of other things from us..what NO ONE got from us was this Messiah foolishness! That is purely Jewish and understandable in the context of Jerusalem...NOT in Nineveh! sheeesh! ...some typos are gold. ...."This mistranslation or rather intentional misinterpretation by some suspiciously motivated "people of god" have done our Assyrian nation more harm than anyone can ever imagine. It is our responsibility to correct the misleading and false teachings that have brought us, the Assyrians, to near distinction." ...hehehehehe --------------------- |
