I`ll spare the person who wrote this from revealing any names...nothing to be ashamed of...I assume...just isn`t my purpose to point a finger at any one person for the addlepated beliefs shared by so many...

...they are not. They speak Arabic and the liturgical language of their church...there is no evidence at all to suggest they are of a distinct ethnic group...as any differences between Irish Catholics and Protestants can`t be laid at the feet of separate ethnicities...these are religious sects TRYING very hard to be unique and exotic...amd as far as faith goes...in any mulitcultuyral society there are people of different faith...none of this makes Chirtsian Iraqis any more unique than other Iraqis...only that THEY insist it sets them worlds apart...but I`ve never been able to tell one from the other...except for window dressing.

They have suffered as much as

You people are a religious sect not the sole surviving Assyrians and nothing out of the ordinary has happened to you...you are not the CHOSEN people. There has been no targeted killing...and land appropriation is a two way street...and it`s the very street the boys are asking to be driven down on their way to a Triangle that is as MUCH of a theft of land as anything they claim to have suffered..theft is theft.

As to the killing business...the Levies were not formed to kill Christians but to target Iraqi Muslims...and we could only WISH the Christians you Assyrian Christians have sent to Iraq with your blessings and mandates ringing in their ears HAD targeted those they killed instead of spraying bullets at everyone...with the outcome that you have merely chosen to hide the true numbers of all of us killed by them...so it would appear that these were smart bombs and soldiers and famine who were targeted in such a way as to skip over and dance around Christian Assyrians...you people killed EVERYBODY.

..."most observers" note that Bush`s appointment by the Supremes was hardly democracy in action...as was the denial of basic rights to Blacks and Women for decades not the best "guarantee" of minority rights...The United States is "hardly meeting the challenge" presented by its abduction and rape and enslavement of an entire People...as it has failed miserably to abide by internatyional law for decades...I`d go a bit easy on this calling the Kurds the kettle when the United States has been a roaring inferno of the scorched earth...of others.

...no one in England...in America...in ancient Greece has EVER "protected" their minorities. One would think a high school graduate would know that democracy has its limitations..one of which is this majority rule business. Now there CAN BE provisions written in to spare minorities from a Tyranny of the Majority...but thatà always a shakey and tenuous thing..as we can see in America such protection to minorities face attacks all the time....but...with all it`s limitations, Democracy is a vast improvement over minority rule...and that is all. Where you ever got the notion that democracy MEANS protection for minorities and that this one factor would be the TEST of a "true" democracy is beyond me...except you praobably got good grades wherever you learned to play the parrot`s part.
