First you criticize European countries for their barbarism (and rightly so). You criticize the US for actions in Iraq. But then, inconsistently, you rave about the ancient Assyrian empire without realizing (maybe you do, but don’t mention) that ancient Assyria was the equivalent of a modern day superpower such as the US is today.

It also thrived on its many military conquests and unprovoked acts of war against its neighbors. Ancient Assyria also committed countless atrocities you should be against if you were fair and equitable in your arguments when you rail against other nations when caught doing similar acts.
