The Assyrian torments in southeast Turkey (mountains of Hakari, Tur-Abdin Nassibine, Amad, Mardin and Urfa) did not end once the racial cleansing campaigns against them during the years 1914-1918 had stopped.

...there was no "racial cleansing", that`s a modern term that most applies to you Christians for trying to get rid of ALL jews anywhere. No one else has EVER tried such a thing....no one cleaned out a "Race" There is only one Race and that`s "Human". This is idiot science trying to justify racism..which is alive and well in the HUMAN RACE.

The Turks didn`t try to cleanse any group of people from the Human Race..neither did they try to clean any minor race out of the Human Race. The Turks did what any nation would do that was being attacked by outside forces who have co-religionists inside...espeically as those same people were attacking it from the inside...Armenian Christians...you can`t expect the Turks to be any more measured in their reaction to a SERIOUS attack that wound up inflicting horrendous suffering on all the people of the Ottoman Empire..when America prides itself in killing Afghan wedding guests and Iraqi children for ONE attack against it .......by SAUDIS!!!

The Assyrians did not know peace and tranquility even when Turkey became a secular state in 1924 under Kamal Ataturk and modern Kurdish parties replacing the Kurdish "Aghas" and feudalists began to spring out.

...That was a few years AFTER the European Christians waged an uncalled for war against Turkey for the OIL...and a time when Christianity mounted yet another Crusade against Islam and a time when Christians allowed in as refugees to Iraq turned around and fought their hosts in the pay of the same British who declared war on Turkey and stole its oil fields...and only a few years before they`d launch one against Judaism and kill 6 million Jews.what is it with you people?

...The Christians knew the greatest security they ever had, along with Jews, NOT under Christian rule but under the Turks in the Millet System they will never see again. It wasn`t their fault the war started, but then neither was it Turkey`s fault. This destruction has been brought to the MidEast by those compasionate and gentle and kinder Christians. Things happen...ask Aprim. That`s his line when you ask him to comment on all the Christians killed by America..."unfortunte things happen in war time"...so SHOVE it!

Turkey did not acknowledge the racial cleansing campaigns, which forced thousands of Assyrians out of their historical homelands and did not admit in its constitution their historical presence in northern Mesopotamia.

...stop doing the "Assho Shuffle"...stop hopping back and forth between Christian and "Assyrian". That will never make your claims legitimate. Turkey does not recognize a passle of Christians as direct and only descendants of the ancient Assyrians and neither do I. To the Turks you were all Christians...Armenian, Greek and in your case "Assyrian"..but that`s just a term of convenience to define you nuts...you are NOT Assyrians in ANY meaningful sense of the word..you merely use it when you think it will get you something..you are Christians..and when you live in Turkey..you are TURKISH CHRISTIANS..no more and you couldn`t BE any less.

Yet instead, Turkey went on giving Turkish names to most of the Assyrian villages in south east Turkey in an attempt to wipe out all remaining aspects of the Assyrian culture.

..there was no "Assyrian" culture in any of those villages..no more than there is a French culture in the Cajun parts of Louisiana. You merely call your Christian village life in Turkey..which is different from Christian village life in Iran, Iraq and Syria, by the name "Assyrian". There is not a single ASSYRIAN anything you do. America changed the name and the face of an ENTIRE continent ripped from the hands of its indigenous owners and never gave them a thing for it...refer to Aprim.

Turkey prohibited as well teaching or speaking the ancient Syriac (the Assyrians’ language) and formed, just like the Hamidite troops which were created by the Sultan Abdul Hamid in 1890, Kurdish militias named as "Guards of the villages" to strike the Assyrians and the Armenians. By creating these militias, Turkey's objective was obvious and twofold; to sow dissension among the Kurds themselves and to expel the remaining Assyrians population out of south east Turkey.

...Turkey was as pissed at Christians as America would be if Muslim nations ganged up on it..made war on it, killed millions of Americans and decided to separate Texas from the rest of America and call it "Little Turkey Triangles".,...which sounds more like something that belongs at McDonalds..along with crisp little Christian Triangles.

...They`d had their fill...not of any "race"...and they could have given a shit if all Christians went anywhere else and left them alone..they wanted you Christians OUT of their country as the Americans wanted all Japanese Americans in prisons. The Turks did not make war against any other country for the purpose of getting at the Christian population...ship them to work camps and then to detah camps, kill, fry, saute and eat them, making lampshades of their skin, soap from their body fat, pillows from their hair...tobacco pouches from the women`s breasts, only Christians have done this in history.... No muslims and certainly no Muslims calling themselves the GREAT TURKS would be welcome in America if America suffered what Turkey did at the hands of Christianity. No one has even bothered to ever give a GOOD reason for the war against Turkey, except that it was a "a sick old man"...a RICH old man.

When the Kurdish Labors Party (PKK) started to gain grounds after declaring armed conflict against the Turkish government in 1984, this liberal party put tremendous pressure on the Assyrians and Kurdish villages so they would provide money, refuge, food and clothing for its members. When the Assyrians responded to these demands in fear of vengeance and slaughters, Turkish tanks and military troopers would come to destroy these villages and burn their lands and crops as a punishment for supporting the Kurdish rebels,

...yup..that sounds like them ALL OVER! You Christians I mean.

for example the incidents that took place during the 1990s in the villages of Hassana, Midon, Dayro do Slibo, Deir Qouba and others. The same happened the other way around, for example the incident that took place in the Assyrian village of Bnaybeel when the PKK assassinated in 1990 four of the village's socialites after accusing them of helping the Turkish government whereas the truth reveals that these four men stood firmly against the destructive departure of the Assyrians from Tur-Abdin.

..there are all sorts of "incidents" going on in Iraq right now..if it`s okay for one side..it`s okay for everybody.

Thus, the real purpose for killing those men was to terrorize the villagers and force them to opt for departure as a solution for safety.

...and what is the purpose of having Christian nations kill Muslims in Iraq..is it to make the Christians of Iraq feel secure?

What is more irritating is that the “Kurdish Hezbollah” has also taken his share of horrific assassinations that targeted the Assyrians educated elite along with innocent people and children, presenting unconvincing religious reasons, which has nothing to do with Islam.

..what were the good reasons put forth to target the weakest in Iraq..the children?

All these harassments and assaults led to the expelling of more than 150 thousand Assyrians from Tur-Abdin Mountains since the breakout of the Kurdish Labor Party revolution against the Turkish government not to mention the 1924 mass departure of the Assyrians from the city of “Al-Ruha” (Urfa) to escape the Kurdish and Turkish tyranny. The departed Assyrians built in Aleppo next to their fellow citizens the Christian Assyrians and the Muslims their own neighborhood, which was named after them and still exist till today “Hay Al-Surian” (The Assyrian Neighborhood).

...Christians caused the death of 500,000 Iraqi children...when have you even mentioned that?

...People get displaced in war time..you want a medal for that?

Along with pain, bitterness and tormenting memories of their homeland, the Assyrians who were expelled out of Turkey carried the racial cleansing files to European parliaments of Sweden, Germany and Netherlands. Recently, the Swiss parliament voted over a proposition to acknowledge the racial cleansing committed by the Turks in collaboration with the Kurdish tribes but it failed to pass by only two votes. Today, Assyrian parties and organizations in Europe are sparing no efforts to prevent Turkey's adherence to the European Union until it acknowledges the horrible racial cleansing campaigns committed against the Assyrians while stressing on the necessity that Turkey should respect human rights and tangibly acknowledge the national and religious diversity of the Turkish society

...Just as soon as the major Christian Nations apologize for the war they declared which ruined the country for everybody and forced the Turks to cancel Christian privilleges they`d enjoyed to rule themselves as NO WHERE else has ever given them..and pays war indemnities for all the wealth stolen from it..as Iraq had to pay Kuwait..then we`ll see. Aldo apologize for a government sanctioned and acceptable policy of starving to death Iraqi children... Not likely...is it? About as likely as the Turks apologizing to ANYBODY! Who has ever done such a thing...America...Britain???
