...I didn`t bother with the rest... The Assyrian Democratic Movement has been part of every opposition group meetings prior to the fall of Saddam, ...no one was interested in your movement then, or now...Tariq Aziz didn`t need ZOWAA and neither did Dr Donny George, they achieved their successes without crying to America...the only ones who needed a ZOWAA were the taxi drivers and part time engineers who dreamed up of ZOWAA. and its Secretary General, His Honorable Yonadam Kanna, ..."His Honorable Yonadam Kanna" WHAT? What honorable part of "His"? was a member of the Iraqi Governing Council. Currently, Ms. Pascale Eshoo Warda, the head of the Assyrian Women's Union, hold a Cabinet position. Mr. Kanna is also a membe of the Elections High Commission that is setting the stage for the National Conference to begin next week. ...so shut up already and count your gains..all brought to you through the murder of our own Innocents. Got Christian? "The KDP is in violation of all previous agreements and understanding reached upon by Iraqi opposition groups before and since the fall of the Ba'ath regime. Every political group, institution, tribes, segment of society and notables were to take part in the democratic political process in the new Iraq," comments Mr. Fred Aprim during a phone interview with Zinda Magazine. Mr. Aprim is the author of the acclaimed booklet "Indegenous People in Distress" and an upcoming book on the Assyrian history and ethnicity. ...oh JEEZUS! he is NOT any "author"..no more than he is an "Assyrian"...both of which titles he grandly dubbed himself...he`s as self-authored as he is self-assyrianed. The KDP has most recently prevented the Assyrian groups and organizations such as the Assyrian Democratic Movement (ADM), ChaldoAssyrian Women Union and ChaldoAssyrian Student Union in Dohuk from taking part in the special electoral committees and from nominating their representatives from this the Dohuk Governorate. ...one can only guess that they see these as Christian Fronts...as they see the entire "we are the only real Assyrians because we are Christians" thing for what it is. ...besides...just who is he crying to? Have other people had their "rights" upheld anywhere? Has anything besides brute force and might gotten anyone anything in the last 100 years...1000 years? Just WHO is this silent Messiah Aprim and the rest keep making their case to? First it was Britain..then France and now America...and next the UN. After which they`ll come back saying it was Yahwe all along who "saved them" and they should just re-establish and re-born their faith and hope and trust in HIM...and you`re right back to where we got unravelled all over again. ...all these countries and agencies..Christians all, that we keep fervently appealing to for them to come fight our battles for us or LEAD us and SHOW us the way and protect and herd us together is nothing more than the residue of the Messiah nonsense we learned from the Jews..we`ve become as NEEDY of a Messiah, a Jew one at that, as were the Hebrews....in fact if Israel would attack Iraq openly and GIVE us a Christian corner of it...we would INDEED have found our Messiah...our "Saviour" at last. Now ain`t THAT interesting... --------------------- |
