and all around fashion plate Hanna Hajjar designs new new Assyrian flag...might as well. I mean instead of just sitting around with no national work to do...now that Iraq is secure... [ View Thread ] [ Post Response ] [ Read Prev Msg ] [ Read Next Msg ] A Thought for a New Federal Flag *PIC* Posted By: Hanna Hajjar (ACC7C596.ipt.aol.com) Date: Tuesday, 17 August 2004, at 2:04 a.m. During the opening ceremonies at the Olympic games of 2004, something very interesting happened! I don't know if you had noticed it too. ...your churches unified? The North and South Korean Olympic teams marched under one unified flag! It was not the flag of the Nort, it was not the flag of the south, instead it was a new third flag that showed the Korean peninsula as a unified territory. This gave me an idea for a new Federal flag that unites all the segments of our nation: ...what "Federal"? What "nation"? What are you TALKING about??? ...that's great baby. It took a war to cut it in two so they could "unite" Korea...I mean a war had to tear it apart first, so you got half your wish already. 1. A Tri-Color flag, made of "Red, Yellow and Blue", (those colors are part of our folklore, and I am sure that you have heard the songs about "Smuqa Wu Zarda Wu Sarbella", Or "Smuqo Wu Zarqo Wu Shaoutho"). ...I've heard, "khree goo patookh ya kelba zerda." 2. The center Yellow Triangle represent the Assyrian-Triangle. ...have you got a thing for blonde pubic hair by any chance? Is it one of those Darkie hang-ups? 3. The two Blue segments represent the eternal Rivers of Beth-Nahrin, (The Tigris and Euphrates Rivers). ...check with Turkey..or ask Iraqis how "eternal" those rivers are. What happened to BetNahrain being between any two rivers..or have you forgotten? 4. Four stars in the Yellow Traingle, one for each of our churches: (The Chruch of the East, the Chaldean Catholic Church, The Syriac Orthodox Church, and Syriac Catholic Church). Note: if other denominations/religions join this federation, then a new star could be added for each). ...if that don't say it all...and Hanna says they aren't about religion. This flag highlights the heartland of our nation, and treats all denominations as equals, so that anyone irrespective of his denomination can look at this flag and see himself represented in it. ..thas right...you are ALL denominations..that's all your assinine claim to being Assyrian rests on..your friggen church bullshit...thank GOD you boys are going public with this crap. Graphically, the colors are arranged in a way to create maximum color contrast, this way even if the flag is represented in Black & white or half-tone, the different parts of the flag would still be distinct and not look washed out. ...which is what these proooves are getting to be more and more...you boys have any idea how silly you sound...or is that why you're all great worriers in your thingies only? Whassamatter, a hotel lobby "dangerous territory" to such a seasoned militia commander as yourself...how's recruitment going? This flag is a suggestion just to give you an idea of what I meant when I said to have something that represents all segments of our nation. ...it isn't a nation..you said so yourself..just a passle of sects seeking more sects...your flag would be good to wipe arses with... It was "Just a Thought!" I wonder what you think of it, or if you have any alternate idea! ...yes I do Hanna, glad you asked. Shove your flag. Hanna Hajjar --------------------- |
