two French journalists could get killed over head scarves. What is it with the French anyway? They seemed so rational refusing to go along with this witch hunt and then they go and make head scarves illegal in public school. Did they think they needed to make a concession to Bush?

Do French Muslim school children carry bombs on their heads? Couldn't they carry a gun in a beret? How else can it be seen than as a slap in the face to a religion? Is this some Yellow Star in reverse?

Everybody is going nuts. It's a sad day when I'm getting to be the sanest person on two continents.
