...the upshot of all of this is that we`re supposed to think it`s "safer" to keep the asshole that got us into all this in the first place..you know, "stick with a winner who is getting us killed".

During the Vietnam War Nixon also used that ploy..."never switch horses in midstream" we were warned, as election day approached. But we saw it differently...more like, "don`t change Dicks in the middle of a screw".
