...the upshot of all of this is that we`re supposed to think it`s "safer" to keep the asshole that got us into all this in the first place..you know, "stick with a winner who is getting us killed". During the Vietnam War Nixon also used that ploy..."never switch horses in midstream" we were warned, as election day approached.
