Finally I got cursed at by Parhad ... Just for being Assyrian

Yes, there was a point to my question about the ID.I wanted to know if Tiglath and his friend were issued special ID's to be able to freely move throughout the occupied heartland of Assyria so that they wouldn't be bothered.

...of course they would have. It`s nothing more than realizing the obvious facts on the ground...then and now. The Jews have TAKEN Jerusalem and much of Palestine and they have a recognized country with all the trappings of a sovereign nation and yet they never existed 100 years ago and got their lands by FORCE and keep them the same way...and it is LEGAL and will stand and be recorded in textbooks as long as they can KEEP it. Second in all my posts to Tiglath I've not shown any thing but respect and all that I feel is being sorry for the way his thinking turned not because he's not accepting being a Christian any more that's for him to decide and doesn't concern me or any one else at all but because I have had the chance to work with Tiglath from a distance and he wasn't like this at all.I had always seen in him a strong Assyrian but now all I see un fortunately is some one completely lost.

..that`s an insult to him and it`s meant to be. It`s an insult to all Assyrians to have a Christian feel "sorry" for them when all they`re doing is reverting to the way Assyrians lived for ages, when they WERE Assyrian in the most fundamental way...not Jew knock-offs...there is a LOT more to feel sorry for in an Assyrian who loves his Jew religion more than his Assyrian religion..especially as we can all SEE what the one did for us and the other is doing TO us. If we were to hold ourselves to the same rules every other religion plays by today, you would have stopped being Assyrians the minute you stopped believing in Ashur..you know..the god whose name we identify ourselves by? The other thing you point to is that you "talk a lot" about being Assyrian and they don`t. You do indeed talk a lot about it..but you do nothing about it that isn`t Christian. The Muslims of Iraq also DO Muslim things...they just see no reason to attach "Assyrian" in front of their religion...but it is they who`ve been protecting and defending and digging up and preserving OUR Heritage...all of it. To distinguish yourselves from our Muslims you`ve tacked on the word Assyrian and then have the nerve to claim ONLY you can be "Assyrians".

Life for you Christians stopped when Islam conquered BetNahrain...but our Assyrians who went over to the WINNERS transformed the desert Arabs and together, Assyrian culture and people joined with Arab energy and drive and took the light of BetNahrain to the ends of the earth creating the magnificent Islamic Empire centered in Baghad,the most civilized and advanced city of its day and right ON TOP OF Babylon..that`s how fertile that soil is!!!

There are lots and lots of Christians who live in the MidEast and do just fine..they work with, hire, have friends and neighbors from among Muslms and and MARRY and no one minds...except the church and you. My father became head of the Health Department of Kuwait..a Muslim country between BetNahrain and Arabia. Our Christians suffered no more in BetNahrain than Blacks in America suffered...but that`s Life you know? I don't know why you keep assuming that if some one speaks about Assyrians you automatically want to link that person to Christianity.
When I ask for Assyrians to be treated equally I ask for it as being Assyrians and not as being Christians so you can relax on that note.

Our greatest poet known the world over spoke and wrote and edited a newspaper in the ARABIC language and believed in pan-Arabism because it was the best way to UNITE in the face of a united Europe and its lust for oil and conquest...this Baath ideology was meant bring the nations together under THEIR dominant religion as the Europeans saw themselves representing their dominant religion in its wars against Islamic countries.
