TAL AFAR, Iraq - After Najaf and Fallujah, suddenly it has been Tal Afar's turn to follow the familiar pattern: militants move in, U.S. forces fight to drive them out and local leaders get caught in the middle trying to broker peace.

WHO moved in??? Iraqis MOVED IN??? it was the Americans who "blasted in". In this context a "militant" is someone who resents an illegal attack and occupation of his homeland...and resists by whatever means he or she can...and that they can barely match the destructive firepower of those who MOVED IN.

Gimme a break..you`d think Iraq had been settled by Americans in 700 AD.
