Powell: Terrorism Report a 'Big Mistake' WASHINGTON - A State Department report that incorrectly showed a decline last year in terrorism worldwide was a "big mistake," Secretary of State Colin Powell (news - web sites) said Sunday. "Very embarrassing. I am not a happy camper over this. We were wrong," the secretary told NBC's "Meet the Press." Powell said he was working with the CIA (news - web sites), which helped to compile the data, to determine why the errors got into the report. He said he planned a meeting on the issue Monday and that the intelligence agency was working through the weekend in preparation. ...the rest of it is crap...I mean more crap. Lookit how they work things...they put out one lie when it suited their purposes..and now they change that lie to another one because it now suits their other purpose. First they said there was NO terrorism...since Bush hung "shtrong"..and that was a lie and they knew it...but it made it appear that Bush was right..that when Americans killed wedding guests in Afghanistan..there was obedience and fear and everyone toed the line...so let`s go kill Iraqis too and have even more peace and security...and by the way the stock market could use some "confidence". Now they need to get re-elected and it`s time to scare the same voters they "re-assured"...so now they were "wrong" and "mistakes were made"...and "We don`t know how it happened..." and "But we`re investigating"...and , finally..."heads will roll"..amd indeed a couple of flunkies will get transferred for a job well done. Now it`s time to be afraid. --------------------- |
