If Assyrians revel in their passivity then where did I come from? Answer is I never wanted or allowed myself to be Assyrian..possibly because just these kinds of ways of being Assyrian. And neither did most Assyrians wish to remain passive. In them hoary old days religion wasn`t a pastime it was life itself...people were engaged in it almost daily.

When the Arabs came thundering out of Arabia to send the murdering Romans back to Constantinople they must have seemed pretty damn impressive to the passive Christians on their knee pads. They must have awakened a dormant martial urge in many an Assyrian breast, even those who`d been waiting on their knees for a few hundred years. Except for Peter`s ancestors who were passively oozing zits even back then.

Allah was obviously closer to Assyrian hearts and minds...for while both Christianity and Islam were offshoots of Judaism...Muhammad wasn`t Jewish...he wasn`t of the same people the Assyrians trounced regularly. They`d never managed to conquer Arabia...there must have been a greater affinity towards Islam than the Christianity foisted on them by Rome.

In the modern era Assyrians have moved out and DONE stuff..they haven`t waited around on those same knee `pads expecting kindness from rich and powerful men..a wealthy and muscled arm to lean on as they`re passively taken home to be fucked and later forgotten.

This glorying in passivity that makes these skunks SURE they are therefore Assyrians has all but driven the rest of us away...we`re still here, but we want nothing to do with them and their doctrine of greatness through evangelicism...an empire made of weak tea and hairshirts.

The rest of us haven`t made a liftime`s passion of names and words and talk...and you can see how terrified these boys are when it comes to actually getting up and doing something...you can complain, whine, beg, strategize and issue diclarations from your knees...you can also drop to your knees and trip everyone else up if you see you`re losing the race..the only thing you can`t do from your knees is actuially cross any finish line...
