The Kurds had been massacring the Assyrians duirng most of the 19th century. One writer describes the killing of unarmed Assyrians in 1843 as follows:

Such massacres continued during the 20th century. in 1915 the Kurds together with the Turks wiped out 200 thousand Assyrians of the highland. Only some 30,000 survived and managed to escape to Persia.

Meanwhile some 70 Assyrians villages in the the plain of Urmi had been destoryed by the Kurds their inhabitants mostly killed. Only those who escaped to Russia and those who were sheltered by the American And French missions survived although thousands died of various diseases due to being cramped into unsanitary conditions. The bread bought form the moslem bakers was filled with metal shavings and dirt which caused more deaths. The Assyrians of Turkey were massacred at the same time.

In describing the Assyrian situation in Urmi in may 1915 one American Missionary wrote:

One missionary alone buried one thousand sixty one Assyrians some shot or hacked to death, their corpses left unburied to be torn to pieces by the animals.

...what about 27,000 Assyrians children starved to death with your approval? Where were you when this could have been at least recognized and condemmed? You weren`t around to help those 1000..but you were to help 27,000...I tell you what though...had Americans killed those 1000 you wouldn`t be weeping for them now...that`s how bereft of any decency you people are..you`re so fucking obvious and you say WE are the ones who accuse of you of not being Assyrians...you do it better tha we ever could!

In haftwan a village of Slamas, 750 corpses without heads were foung from the wells and cisterns alone.. more than 500 girls from this village were delivered to the Kurds of Saudnulak as happened to the thousands from other villages. A general massacre by the Kurds and Turks was reported in the Bohtan Distict.. The women and children who escaped death were carried away as captives. ... Many women of Mansoria threw themselves in the river (Tigirs) to avoid falling into the hands of the Kurds. (Joseph Yacoub, "the Assyrian Question"1986 p.103)

...we`ve heard it all before..it won`t get you a country...it just makes you feel sorry for yourselves...and gets you pity, you hope..that and makes you feel justified for the murder you bring to the innocent children of those people of 200 years ago you`re so eager to get killed today.

The return of the Russians in may 1915 provided some protection for the Assyrians and allowed them to reuturn to their destoryed villages but as soon as the Russians left in 1917 attcks against the Assyrians began from all directions by the Kurds, Turks and Persians. Only by defending themselves Assyrians managed to protect their people from selves from totall massacre.

..this is all bullshit...all of it. It`s never been confrimed by anyone outside your fucking missonaries...and a seven year old who was an eyewitness...so long as you don`t open your eyes to ALL out losses, you`re merely delivering bullshit.

Negociations with Simko were a desparate attempt to establish friendly relations with the Kurds but as many time before Kurds were full of hate and deceit . Kohneshar (the right pronouciation) was Simko’s stonghold . The killing of Mar shimun once again proved that Kurds planned the totall extinction of the Assyrians and had no intentions of living in peace with them. It was obvious that the murder of Shimoun was carefully planned with the intention of depriving Assyrians from a uniting leader and destroy the Assyrian moral so that they could be easily defeated in the following attacks. The murder of Mar Shimun did have such effect which led to a desperate flight of the Assyrians from uramia and more massacres. In such life and death situations people do desperate things. Unlike thousands of Kurds massacres of the Assyrians which had turned life into a nightmare for them this was not a premeditated and calculated attack intended to kill the innocent. It was a retaliation for all the pains which Kurds had inflicted on the Assyrians which has ignited their rage.

...bullshit..if you can justify your rage so can others..these are all our people torn apart by these fucking Jew religions you people picked up...and you want to go on slaughtering and of course GETTING slaughtered..you are sick people...who ignore 27,000 murdered Assyrian children because you Christians killed them and of what use are they in your Christian agenda.
