IraqBodyCount.org only counts *media* reported civilian deaths. Obviously the media isn't going to report everything and can't be everywhere all the time.... The Al-Jazeera article reports the findings of a study in which a group of people combed the country, asking about known civilian casualties of the invasion. What's sad is that the numbers of dead, even at approximately 37,000, are low, because the study doesn't include numbers of civilian dead in the Kurdish areas. --------------------- |
