the boys had to dig deep to find instances of Christians being "persecuted" in Iraq or anywhere else. It would seem they were eager to make the case that nothing changed much since 897 AD...or Simele for sure. Every hood who was arrested in Iraq..every criminal, if he happened to be Christian, was trumpeted to the world as proof positive that Christians were facing dailty threats just because they were a people of "Love"...or descended from Ashurbanipal...

It was a dastardly thing to do...they knew they were lying..they knew they were imagining, they knew they were taking out of context and blowing up and telling only part of the story...why they even found a guy in Syria who got lost in a snowstorm and froze to death and made a martyr of HIM in hopes enough fools in Ceres would believe it was a Muslim snowstorm that killed him.

We know how damn hard they worked to play into every scenario Bush and Wolfowitz and Cheney and Powell dreamed up. What did they work so hard for? Did they REALLY believe this time would be different...that an attack on this massive scale...by THIS brutal regime would actually improve things for the Christians back there...do they seriously review American intervention and come away reassured that America is in the business of righting wrongs...of protecting Darkies..of giving ANYONE "their" land back? From where...based on what EMPIRICAL evidence...Aprim?

They knew this day would come..or it was a risk...of NO risk to them...a win/win for them because if the impossible happened and they got a country...they could claim to have been brilliant and far-seeing..if the whole thing blew up and Christians started running...they could wring their hands and beg America to stay the course after which SURELY all would be well???

That's what they're getting ready to do...plan A didn't work...no triangle...Plan B looks just as doubtful for their own peculiar litmus test democracy in which a minority gets all it asks for ...that leaves Plan C...draw as much attention to the "miserable" plight of Christians there without saying WHO put them there...blame it all on Muslim ingratitude for American largesse...and beg some trifles and make some "plans" to make it look like they were Players all along and were "prepared" for every contingency...their only strategy now is to make sure those poor bastards stay there so there could be some more martyrs for next years excuse and occasion to pull Canadian Christians together and "Tell The World"...well...the world is awash in tragic events and blood...and the boys know they need some really bang up tragedies to get this kind of world's attention...that is their "strategy for the future"...and Narsai will be there to feast them.
