If the Church of the East had nothing to do with this event, then why did you have its bishop Mar Nersay opening the curtain of the Assyrian Martyrs Monument?

You missed a glden opportunity to unite all our churches, by inviting all their religious leaders, and I don't think that they would have objected especially after the recent church bombing in Iraq that covered all our denomoinations.

...there it is...another "golden opportunity" to unite...through murder. Well what if there was peace and prosperity and no one was worried about the other guy or afraid of hell and damnations? There might be no interest in "uniting"..or even in attending church much...but with death and destruction and poverty and insecurity...the churches and mosques do a land office business...achieving what they yearn to but can't get people's attention for UNLESS murder comes stalking them.

...Apparently it's going to take a lot more murder to convince the churches they better unite..and that's the way it's been in Christlandia...

Apparently the copmmittee of Assyrian Assembly of Lebanon, decided to make it a Church of the East event only, and to reaffirm the definition that Assyrian means Nestorian.
